THORN ATHLETIC landed a tough-looking tie in the second round of this season’s Foster’s Scottish Amateur Cup.
We will face the winners of fellow Caledonian League side Cambria and Ayrshire outfit Troon Dundonald.
They played out a 1-1 draw in Troon last week and will have to do it all over again this weekend (September 12).
Glasgow side Cambria are familiar opponents as they are in the same Caledonian League division as Thorn, although the sides have yet to meet this season.
A comprehensive 6-0 victory over Stirling and District outfit Condorrat Amateurs saw Thorn into Tuesday’s draw at Hampden draw.
